We are calling it a day now and will get some sleep! Hope you enjoyed the updates.

Tile Map Update 07:00

This is the progress as of 07:00. We are not complete, but are nearly there. We probably won't finish in the 24hours but it was very close. Brains are a bit slow now.

A couple of evenings after work in the week and we should be all done!

Narrow Gauge

The narrow gauge.

Donkey Ride, One Pound!

A man sells donkey rides for a pound along the beach.

We are one man down in the office now, 5 stalwarts remain. Starting to brain freeze over simple tasks but we persevere...

Harbour Signal Box

Line heading back up the incline from the Phorum Harbour.

Phetts Halt

Fresh coffee, and heading towards the final push.

Coastal Tunnel

A tunnel heading North. The vegetaion has slightly departed from the scrubland due to shelter from the wind.

Beyond this tunnel is a bridge leading to the village of Phett's Halt.

Signal Box

We are still alive... but starting to flag! Here is one of three new signal boxes made for Project Platform.

Sands of Time

Leave a light on for me (remix)

Lighthouse. At night.

The Long and Winding Road

Having something of a second wind. Might be time for a tilemap update soon.

This footpath on the East coast of the island connects the hamlet on the left to the rocky bays just off screen to the right.

Fields of Gold

More of the rural areas at the South of the island on a rainy day. The poppies, corn field and rosebay willows inject colour into what would otherwise be a dreary scene.

Craner vs Craner

The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine (Anymore)

A picture to match my mood. Lost a bit of work due to shonky PC issues, but it is soon another day and onwards I plow heading along the East coast of the island following the mainline track.

Mostly scrubland and rocky cliff, the quarry is just over the hill in the distance.

Am enjoying using vegetation from the foliage pack.

The trestle bridge is now im place around Vern Bay.

Orange Crush

Almost finished, but I'm looking to bribe one of the guys to add lights, a driver and numbers... maybe the grill on the top and front too...oh and smoke, but apart from that it's almost finished...

Time after time

Been awhile since the last blog post, wondering if we should have a tools down moment to eat pizza when we get to half way. While 2 of us started at 8, the rest started at 9.

Tile Map Update 18:34

Here is an update on route building progress. Kind of scary but Adam has been off doing rolling stock blueprints for the past few hours and the artists are doing artistic things with assets; so I've been flying the route building flag solo for a while.

I'll provide another update somtime after the half-way point (9pm GMT).

-Dan

Fortifications

Out at sea there are ruins of a fortification built during the war.

Passenger narrow gauge section is complete, yay!

-Dan

Taking a break from route building, Ive dived into rolling stock setups and started tweaking and improving, adding and implementing all the data not already provided to us, or for our own secret vehicles.
