Time to Hit the Beach

The Beach area south of the narrow gauge start is complete; now to turn my attention Northwards and the main town on the island.

Break time

Time for a break. Its been a great first 6 hours, with some fantastic progress.

Time now to reflect and catch our breath. Have a bite to eat and drink, and prepare for the afternoon shift.

Twister

In short, I simply dont use the Snap to Terrain tool. Lay the road flat and use the gradient points to snap the road down to the hill side. Then using my simply trick of adding additional points and deleting the middle ones, you can quickly smooth out any harsh angles.

Start of the Passenger narrow Gauge

The start of the Narrow Gauge Passenger line which runs from St Bilton to the Lighthouse.

This station is on a pier flanked on one side by a lovely beach and the seaside town of St Bilton on the other.
